PRIVACY POLICY

People hand us the truth they hide from everyone. We treat it accordingly. What you trust us with, we guard like a right, not a setting.

This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who sees it, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers this website and the programs, tools, events, shows, and publications of New Solutions Network (NSN) and its divisions.

What we collect

Information you give us:

  • Your name, email, phone, company, and anything else you write into a form or send us.
  • Account and profile details, if you create an account.
  • Your answers, reflections, and progress inside our programs, courses, assessments, and tools.
  • Stories, recordings, transcripts, photos, and written material you share as a guest, participant, or contributor.
  • Billing details, handled by our payment processor. We don’t store card numbers.

Information collected automatically:

  • Basic device and connection data, including IP address, browser, and general location.
  • How you use the site — pages viewed, links followed, where you came from.
  • Cookies and similar technologies, described below.

Some of what people share with us touches health, mental health, recovery, faith, or other personal ground. We collect that only when you choose to give it to us, and only for the program or purpose you came for.

Why we use it

  • To run and improve our website, programs, tools, events, and content.
  • To answer you when you reach out, and to review applications and partnership inquiries.
  • To personalize what you see inside our tools, based on what you tell them.
  • To produce and share our shows, books, and articles, where you’ve agreed to take part.
  • To conduct research and build de-identified, aggregated insight. Identifying details are removed first unless you’ve given us permission to name you.
  • To send you the email you asked for. Every message has an unsubscribe link.
  • To keep the site secure and to meet our legal obligations.

Stories and appearances

If you sit down with us for a show, an interview, an event, or a publication, we ask you to sign a release covering how that material can be recorded, edited, and shared. That release governs the recording itself.

Two things hold regardless. You can tell us something is off the record, and it stays off the record. And where your story informs our research, it is stripped of what identifies you unless you’ve agreed to be named.

Who sees it

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • With the vendors who help us operate — hosting, email, analytics, scheduling, payments, support — who may use it only to provide that service to us.
  • With other entities inside New Solutions Network that support the service you’re using.
  • With a partner you’ve chosen, when you sign up for something we deliver together, and only for that purpose.
  • In de-identified or aggregated form, for research.
  • When the law requires it, or when we need to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
  • If our business is ever sold or merged, as part of that transaction, still subject to this policy.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
  • Send you a copy of it.
  • Correct it.
  • Delete it.
  • Stop emailing you.
  • Withdraw permission you gave us earlier, including for anything sensitive you shared.

Reach us through the contact form on this site and tell us what you want. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, and we’ll respond as quickly as we can and within the timeframes the law sets. Asking costs you nothing and changes nothing about how we treat you.

Depending on where you live, local law may give you additional rights. We honor them. If you’re outside the United States, note that your information is processed here, where privacy laws differ from your own.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand how people use it. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and we honor browser-level privacy signals where the law recognizes them. Switching some cookies off may change how parts of the site behave.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it to us, plus any period the law or our records require. Recordings and published work are kept in line with the release you signed. De-identified research data is kept indefinitely and is no longer connected to you.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect what we hold, including access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfect and we won’t claim otherwise. If a breach ever affects your information, we’ll notify you as the law requires.

Children

Our services are built for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Where a program is offered to young people through a school or organization, it runs under a separate agreement with parental or institutional consent. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Other sites

We link out to platforms we don’t control — podcast hosts, video platforms, retailers, partner sites. Their privacy practices are their own.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top and post the new version here. If the change is significant, we’ll say so.
